Building a Client Reference Program for a Global Strategy Consulting Firm

Context

Client impact stories existed but weren't systematised. Commercial teams were assembling bids manually, references lived in inboxes, and there was no governance around what could be shared and with whom.

Approach

I designed and built a centralised client reference database from the ground up — working across marketing, legal, and technology teams. I led the onboarding of over 400 stakeholders globally, positioning the platform as a commercial accelerator, not a compliance tool. A second phase scaled adoption to 4,000 users.

Results

Faster proposal assembly, greater legal clarity, and a repeatable pipeline of rich media client stories used in pitches and proposals. Client proof became institutional muscle memory.
